Welcome back to those students returning from the winter break and a warm welcome to the new January entrants.
This
library blog is designed to highlight interesting news and events
relevant to students in the business school and also to draw attention
to the support the librarians offer.
This week we have
been busy running sessions on referencing, literature searching and
finding reports for various different modules. I hope those of you who
attended found them helpful. For those of you who were unable to attend
or who want a reminder, presentations and worksheets can be found on the
Business & Management library subject guide. Alternatively don't hesitate to email us and ask for help.
This week I also spotted this nice article on revising from the Guardian education section which might be helpful. Exams are always a cause of stress and it's good to be well prepared.
There also an interesting article on a fitness band being premiered by Sony
at the Consumer Electronics show in Las Vegas earlier this month. Is
technology that monitors all our food and activies the future or it is
too invasive? This article might be of particular interest to students
current doing project work on Sony for MGT3201.
